Lyra also uses synthetic meshes which, while demonstrating clinical efficacy, have shown known reliability and safety issues (as reported by Cochrane/FDA) due to not-uncommon complications (erosion, rejection, pelvic pain), linked to materials that are often unsuitable or to surgical techniques performed with non-optimal anchoring systems. Lyra SRS Implant overcomes these limitations.

Lyra SRS Implant is a device made up of two components: a titanized surgical mesh from the Tiloop® extra-light range, weighing just 16 g/m², and a solid yet flexible frame called the Frame. The latter is made of medical-grade PEEK plastic and consists of two solid lateral arms and an elastic connecting bridge. Lyra SRS Implant is inserted via a vaginal approach using standard surgical instruments.
